Steve uses his background in collectibles and the law, with his skills as an appraiser, to write from a unique perspective about coins as investments. He co-authored a 2007 revision of The Collector’s Handbook, a book on tax planning, strategy and estate advice for collectors and their heirs. His work in describing how collectors can apply Section 1031 like-kind exchanges to rare coins won the 2009 Best Investment article award from the Numismatic Literary Guild.
